Dog-friendly Brookings
Rules first, then where to go and where to eat with your dog.
The rules
- State parks (Harris Beach, Boardman, Loeb): pets must be physically restrained when outside a vehicle or tent, on a leash no longer than 6 ft. Remove all pet waste.
- City parks (Azalea Park, Chetco Point): pets leashed at all times, and owners remove droppings. The exception is inside the fenced dog park.
- Keep dogs well back from seals, sea lions and nesting birds, and read the signs at each access point.
